A Playful Art Studio for Kids

CLASSES, CAMPS & PARTIES FOR AGES 1 AND UP

We don’t teach your kids art. We teach them to be creative thinkers. The art they make here is a lovely bonus.

Have you ever been in an art gallery and thought to yourself “Wow, how did the artist come up with that?” That spark of imagination—that fearless originality—starts young. At our studio, we give children the space, tools, and encouragement to explore their ideas without limits. Because when kids learn to take creative risks and think beyond the obvious, they grow into adults who invent, inspire, and innovate.

So what exactly do we do here?

We guide children through engaging and inspiring art experiences. For the littles we include lots of sensory play, painting and opportunities to get messy. For school-aged kiddos, we have a planned project, but your child will always be encouraged to follow their own creative vision.

At Saplings Studio your child will learn to:

  • experiment

  • use a variety of art materials

  • solve problems

  • explore things from all angles

  • be okay with mistakes

  • work together

  • inspire and be inspired

  • be kind to others

  • express themselves

  • trust the process

Our Classes

  • A parent-child class for ages 1-6. Each week you’ll joyfully explore a new theme together through art and sensory stations.

  • A drop-off class for ages 3-6. Children will work together and individually to make playful art projects!

  • Our afterschool program for ages 5-12. Children experiment with all kinds of art making including clay, painting, beading, textile art, printmaking, sculpture and more.

  • Come in with the whole fam to make art together! A time to simply enjoy the space - our loose parts play area, light play, rice table, maker’s space, dough table, and easels. Open Studio also has simple art invitations to enjoy. Ages 1-12 welcome with an adult.
